Pinterest : So Very Fascinating!

What is Pinterest?
According to Wikipedia, it's a pinboard-style photo-sharing website that allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections such as events, interests, and hobbies. Users can browse other pinboards for images, "re-pin" images to their own pinboards, or "like" photos.

Pinterest itself says it's a tool for collecting and organising the things that inspire you.

I think it's a wonderful source of beautiful images that help to educate and inspire... I like to use Pinterest images in my PowerPoints, noticeboards and blogs :D

But BEWARE...once you enter the Pinterest site, you may never want to leave!

Here's a few samples.

What STEP is all about...

STEP - Sabah English Language Teachers' Enhancement Programme is precisely what it says it is.

Under a steering committee headed by the Head of the Academic Management Sector (Sabah) Dr Haji Mohd Kassim bin Mohd Ibrahim, this programme has been prepared to support the English teachers currently serving in Sabah in terms of personal development and networking.

Starting small... but starting for sure... a module to help the upskilling of English teachers has been prepared and the TOT (training of trainers) is being conducted right now in Kota Kinabalu.  Let me just say that it has been an exhilarating two days... just focusing on oneself, rather than school and students.

'Oneself' sounds so selfish, right?  But how can one help others, if one is struggling oneself?  LOL.
Do keep checking this page... a forum is being set up and all I can say is, breathe deep and let the festivities begin!
